MIDDLE SCHOOL
The middle school students are learning regular verb conjugations in the indicative mood. (The indicative is one of three moods in Spanish. The indicative mood is typically used for making factual statements or describing obvious qualities of a person or situation.)
I have joined a website for the students to practice their conjugations and their vocabulary words. There are also games on the site to help them. They can access this site from home to practice. They are required to do a graded practice weekly and record score.
10 minutes for each exercise

Username = First name Last initial -scs (no spaces)
Example: John Smith would be JohnS-scs
Password = spanish202

Click on Login
and enter username and password
(sometimes username and password needs to be in all lowercase letters. Always no spaces)
Cultural Studies
The students get divided into groups and each group needs to research one particular topic and write a skit to present to the rest of the class. The purpose is to learn about the country from each other.SIXTH GRADE

The 6th graders will be learning regular " ar" verb conjugations. The conjugations are in the indicative mood in the present tense.

The 7th graders will be reviewing the regular " ar", " er", and " ir" verb conjugations. The conjugations are in the indicative mood in the present tense.EIGHTH GRADE
The children in 8th grade begin class by praying either the Our Father or the Hail Mary in Spanish. We switch every trimester.
The 8th graders will be reviewing the regular " ar", " er", and " ir" verb conjugations in the present tense.
Later in the year, they will be introduced to the " ar", " er", and " it" verb conjugations in the Predorite past and future tense.
